Things to Do

The Lower Rio Grande Valley National Wildlife Refuge spans four counties, 275 river miles and 115 tracts of land. There are more than 40,000 acres of the Refuge open free to the public. Visitors are encouraged to take advantage of the wonderful wildlife-related opportunities, including wildlife watching, photography and hunting.
