The Lower Rio Grande Valley National Wildlife Refuge spans four counties, 275 river miles and 115 tracts of land. Visitors are encouraged to take advantage of the wonderful wildlife-related opportunities offered on the Refuge, including wildlife watching, photography and hunting.
